Donna Dosado
b. 1992 Cebu, Philippines
Donna Dosado is a visual artist based on Siargao Island. She creates whimsical paintings that capture the quiet magic of everyday moments, featuring animals, human figures, and the beauty of the natural world. Central to her current practice is an intimate exploration of coastal ecology and a life lived by the ocean. Through this intimate mapping of the landscape, she reflects on her relationship with the ocean and with nature in general. Her creative process mirrors her journey of self-discovery, while also transforming observation into reflections on our deep and inescapable connection to the ecosystems we inhabit.
